Altroz, Tata’s premium hatchback offering has been announced as the official partner for Dream 11 IPL (Indian Premier League) 2020. The tournament begins on September 19 and is going to be held in the United Arab Emirates. This is the third year for Tata’s partnership with BCCI, which has partnered its Nexon and Harrier cars to be the tournament’s official partners in the past. As the official partner the Altroz will be showcased at the stadiums during matches. An award named, Altroz Super Striker will also be in play which will be awarded to the player with the best strike rate, with a cash prize of INR 100,000. The batsman with the best strike of the tournament will be awarded with the car itself.
Tata will be proactively spreading the partnership with its dealerships and social media platforms, holding special events with live matches. Additionally, an app has also been launched, Altroz super striker which is a free to download game that fans can use to showcase their batting in game and win prizes of up to INR 5000 with a prize of INR 100,000 for the season topper.

Altroz, since its launch has been garnering applauds from customers and critics alike, commending its design and build quality. The car also received a 5-star NCAP rating for safety, making it the safest hatchback in India. It is taking the fight to the competition with its edgy, futuristic design and aggressive stance. The car comes with a fully digital cluster , automatic climate control among other features and comes in two engines options, 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel. The car currently is only sold with a manual gearbox option.
