Dacia is now going to unveil of its first all-electric model, the Dacia Spring Electric model is now presented in its standard version with two new versions for new mobilities. The car is about to revolusize the auto sector with the new look that has the lowest-price , an electric city car that is going to be launched in the European market. The model makes electric mobility even more reachable as it has an SUV look and is versatile. In India Dacia Spring is famously known as Renault Kwid and it’s electric variant was showcased at Auto Expo 2020.

“The Dacia brand is about redefining the essential. We are known in the car industry for our different revolutions, first with the Logan and then with the Duster which made the SUV accessible for all. Today, this is Dacia’s third revolution and its name is Dacia Spring. The Dacia Spring will make inroads into three distinct markets: retail market, car-sharing with numerous car-sharer operators throughout Europe and on the last-mile delivery with its cargo version. Cool and trendy, the Dacia Spring will change the game as an affordable electric mobility solution for all, said Denis Le Vot, member of Groupe Renault Executive Committee.


It’s an SUV car with wider wheel arches, reinforced, roof bars front rocker panel, rear ski and raised ground clearance (150 mm unladen). The spring boasts a sturdy look, while its reassuring stature suggests generous interior space with its broad shoulders and curved bonnet. The model is 3.73 m long, 1.62 m wide (excluding wing mirrors) and 1.51 m high.


Its facade end highlights a bold personality with tapered LED lights whose horizontal line is increased into the design of the grille. The modern car has 3D elements stylishly concealing the charging socket which unlock the compartment.


The vehicle has Flexwheel technology that includes sheet-metal rims make a hole in for stylish wheel trims to be fitted – an artistic and inexpensive solution should they need to be changed.


The interior of the car is spacious as the Spring Electric offers four genuine adult-sized seats with five-doors. The back seats can easily accommodate taller adults as it has headroom and a knee radius of 100 mm. 23.1 litres of storage space in the large glove compartment is available with back passengers to have chapel pockets behind the front seats. The chrome-plated revolving dial gearbox is simple to use with just three positions: D (drive), N (neutral) and R (reverse).


The boot offers 300 litres of loading capacity that includes the under- boot space for the optional spare wheel. For higher modularity, the backbench seat can be folded to offer a load capacity of 600 litres.


The Spring Electric can easily zip around the city with a turning radius pared down to just 4.8 m. The model provides visual and audio assistance with three ultrasound radar sensors on the back bumper and a rear-view camera (the system altogether is known as a parking assistance system and it works as an option)


The model offers a wide choice of charging options: on a 220 V home socket to give it greater independence and offers easy charging system. The model is the best to use for every customer with its jubilant features.
