The Mini Countryman​ is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV, the first vehicle of this type to be launched by BMW under the Mini​ marque. It was launched in 2010 and received a facelift in 2014. The second generation vehicle came out in 2017. The second generation Countryman​ (F60) was introduced at the LA Auto Show in November 2016 and went on sale in February 2017 in Europe, and March elsewhere. The new MINI Countryman was launched in India on 5 March 2021. Locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the new MINI Countryman will be available in two petrol variants – MINI Countryman Cooper S and MINI Countryman Cooper S John Cooper Works Inspired.
