New Delhi: MG Motor India has unveiled the much-awaited India’s first Autonomous (Level 1) Premium SUV, MG Gloster. The model is the third product of MG Motor in the country after the Hector, India’s first Internet car and ZS EV, India’s first internet electric SUV.
The MG Gloster is powerfully built with first-in-segment Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)*. It has stunning features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Automatic Parking Assist amongst others like forwarding Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD).
Gloster is technically designed with multiple driving modes like ‘Snow’, ‘Mud’, ‘Sand’, ‘Eco’, ‘Sport’, ‘Normal’ and ‘Rock’. MG Motor’s Gloster is an intelligent All Terrain System that helps in the advanced control vehicle off-roading with a back differential and BorgWarner transfer case, a state-of-the-art electronic shift-on-the-fly technology.

The MG i-SMART technology significantly adds to the model’s overall experience that includes several industry-firsts including Critical Tyre Pressure Voice Alert, Shortpedia App that gives short news summaries. It also has Anti-Theft Immobilization via Smartphone that remotely halts the engine ignition. The car is beautifully made and has smart features like 3D maps from MapMyIndia which includes COVID testing centre locations in maps apart from various alerts like potholes and speed alerts. The happy customer of Gloster will also get Apple Watch Connectivity and can use their Gaana app with voice control, other than welcome and greeting messages.
The car comes with an integrated 360o cameras and sensors to reduce all blind spots with Blind Spot Detection feature. Higher variants of the model will be powered by the world-wide acclaimed 2.0 Diesel Twin Turbo engine at 218 PS Power and 480 Nm Torque, making it the most puissant SUV in its category.
The car comes with 2.5 PM filter which helps passengers breathe clean air. The dynamic SUV will be available for the esteemed customers in four colours that are Agate red, metal black, metal ash and warm white.The pre-bookings for the luxurious car can be done by visiting the website of MG India or can be done by physically visiting its 200+ centres across India.
