The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, formerly known as Sonderklasse (German for “special class”, abbreviated as “S-Klasse”), is a series of luxury flagship vehicles produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz, a division of German company Daimler AG. The W222 S-Class was given a facelift for 2018 as a mid-cycle refresh, with only minor changes to the cosmetics of the car. The facelifted W222 S-Class received updated autonomous driving technologies as well as new engines.
