- LUMMA ups the ante and expands its range of parts for the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class
LUMMA Design GmbH & Co. KG presents an extensive range of retrofit parts for the current Mercedes-Benz G-Class in addition to its spectacular CLR G770 wide body kit. From sports exhaust systems and 23-inch alloy wheel rims to body components made of high-strength and ultra-light carbon fabric, the tuning specialist is expanding its range for the highly popular off-roader.
Highest quality visible carbon fibre
Striking eye-catchers in the newly developed LUMMA range are the aerodynamic components made of visible carbon: the full-carbon engine bonnet in a sports look with newly designed air vents is getting a lot of attention in particular. But the new look is not the only thing that’s attracting attention – the bonnet’s intelligent air routing also optimises the temperature balance in the engine compartment and thus favours the installation of power-boosting drive units with increased requirements for fresh air.
The specialist manufacturer from Winterlingen also makes, out of visible carbon fibre fabric, a roof trim with four particularly bright additional LED headlights, exterior mirror caps, door handles, a roof rear spoiler and a spare wheel cover for the all- wheel drive vehicle, thus demonstrating the high-quality design of LUMMA’s customisations.
Impressive both in its dimensions and design – the innovative fully forged rim LUMMA offers various wheel designs and sizes specially tailored to the Mercedes’ distinct requirements. The ultra-light F-utu-R forged wheel in XXL 23-inch format is a highlight in terms of styling and technology. The dynamic design of its spokes doesn’t just give a striking, sporty look, but also guarantees a balanced load distribution, resulting in increased load-bearing capacity. Available in black with a sporty central locking cover or mirror-polished with visible chrome bolts, these alloy wheel rims fit both the G-Class with its AMG package and the CLR G770. LUMMA recommends 305/35-23”-sized tyres in combination with its performance spacers.
Powerful sounds from six tailpipes
A sporty, powerful sports exhaust system was developed especially for the G63. The two flap-controlled rear silencers adorn its flanks with three black or three chrome- plated stainless steel tailpipes on each side, loudly drawing attention to its V8 Biturbo engine.
Carbon fibre in the interior as well
Customisation of the G-Class can be continued in the interior on request. Its interior can be completely redesigned, from pedal pads in full carbon design to the dashboard and carpeting: CEO Horst Lumma’s experienced team only uses premium leathers, Alcantara of the highest quality and, of course, only perfectly produced carbon fibre.
