The Maserati Quattroporte is a four-door full-size luxury sports saloon produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Maserati. The name translated from Italian means “four doors”. The car is currently in its sixth generation, with the first generation introduced in 1963. The current and sixth-generation of the Quattroporte was introduced in early 2013. With a 3,171 mm (124.8 in) wheelbase it is a considerably larger vehicle than any of its predecessors, to set itself apart from the smaller Ghibli, which shares its underpinnings. Engine choice includes twin-turbocharged V6 and V8 petrol engines, as well as a turbodiesel V6.
