It is a good day for Middle Eastern car junkies as Chevrolet has officially begun sale of its Official SUV of Action, the all-new Chevrolet Tahoe, in the region. The SUV boasts a 360 degree transformation from its interiors to technical innovations.
The launch has led Chevrolet’s impressive portfolio and solidified GM’s SUV superiority across the automobile market of this area. The SUV with its full redesigning of the minutest of details is now better equipped than ever to deal with the unique terrain of Middle Eastern countries. The promise of a ‘bigger, better, bolder’ 2021 Tahoe has been kept with its full-size, top-level interiors and supreme technical equipment. Its top-of-the-class powertrain and driving dynamics have made it easier than ever for adventurers to go off-roading on sand dunes. Paying special interest to its local buyers and their inputs on all the qualities of a preferred vehicle, this truck has been tailored to satisfy every need to its specific clientele. For adrenaline chasers, an individual trim- the Tahoe Z71 has also been introduced. Made specifically for driving in sandy terrains, it has a maximum approach angle of 34.9 degrees.
Offering four different trims- LT, LS, Z71 and Premier, the company has enabled its customers to choose an ideal model that fits in just right with their unique lifestyles. The ‘bigger’ 2021 Tahoe delivers an added third-row legroom of 254 mm and a 66 percent increase in cargo space. A subzero temperature fridge stores up to six half-litre bottles and still has enough room for extra snacks. Its ‘better’ driving dynamics include an autonomous multi-link rear suspension architecture for the Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. Its load-levelling and ride height adjustment of four inches when combined with Magnetic Ride Control gives the best off-road experience possible. Boasting fresh chassis, a V-8 engine, Dynamic Fuel Management and Auto Stop/ Start Tech when combined with 10-speed automatic transmission deliver highest performance and maximum fuel economy. Its connective features have also undergone a major upgrade. It has five display screens, one HD 8-inch diagonal central colour touchscreen and one LT exclusive HD 10-inch-diagonal central colour touchscreen. Other connective apparatuses are 8-inch-diagonal instrument cluster and a 15-inch head-up display. Entertainment is taken care of by two 12.6-inch diagonal back seat LCD displays.
Also equipped with around 25 supreme safety technologies, the SUV ensures that travelling parties can enjoy their ride, without having to worry about their safety. To keep a watchful eye over the car’s surroundings, the full view camera giving a 360 degree view has also been fitted with HD Surround Vision and Rear Camera Mirror. Some of the safety features are Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Detection, and Rear Park Assist etc. for the safety of those inside as well as those outside the car. For the driver, tech like Side Blind Zone Alert, Head-up display etc. always come in handy. The company is also in the works to add OnStar to the 2021 Tahoe, which goes even further in ensuring customer safety and connectivity. With this feature, the car assists its occupants during emergencies like accidents and stolen cars, and offers a host of connective abilities like remote lock/ unlock and remote start.
