The Ghost is every bit a Rolls-Royce and even has the Spirit of Ecstacy mounted on the bonnet which houses the massive V12.
British automakers are known for their inkling towards aristocracy and larger than life luxury, and the pinnacle of this is the Luxury marque Rolls-Royce, the brand has since its inception spawned one of the most finely crafted vehicles on earth. The Ghost is one of the mainstays of the lineup ever since it was launched in 2010, it is the entrant in the lineup for four-door vehicles, but even then the asking price for a Ghost is above INR 5 Crores. But a used Ghost might be the answer to your budget.
A first generation Ghost from 2010, the year in which it was launched is being sold for a price of just INR 1.54 Crores and considering the other cars one can buy in this price range, it is a steal and easily the cheapest Rolls-Royce in India. The car was developed on the platform of the BMW -Series (BMW owns the British company) and was aimed as a more realistic option for customers looking to purchase a Rolls.
The car rides on air springs to give it the Customary ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ and uses the iDrive interface from BMW to control the systems. The engine is a V12, a 6.5 litre unit develops 562 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque that is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission and despite weighing 2.5 tons the car can accelerate to a 100 kmph in just 4.7 seconds, top speed for the car is limited to 250 kmph.
The Ghost in simple words is a car which provides luxury and road presence that can be trumped by few others, and that includes its bigger sibling the Phantom. This particular car has 60,725 kilometers on its wheels and it is the first owner that is selling it off, which means that the car has been taken care of properly. At the asking price, INR 1.54 crores you can buy a new BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-class, Audi A8L, and other top luxury models, but they are not comparable to the Rolls.
The car has multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, infotainment screens on the back of the front seats, and many other top of the line luxury features. The Ghost here is in an exterior shade of black, with a silver color for the dual-tone hood and grille. Interior is decked in veneer and white leather upholstery. Overall a perfect choice for someone looking for the best of the luxury sedans out there.
