The MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition is a perfect tribute to the MINI philosophy and the challenges of the current time. MINI has once again created an unmatched combination of the legendary go-kart feeling and open-top driving experience. It celebrates a rich heritage of unfiltered excitement and driving fun. The exclusively crafted elements of this limited edition create moments of pure emotion with unbridled energy. If you’re spontaneous, outgoing, and like to live life unfiltered, this is the car for you.”
At an ex-showroom price of INR 44,90,000, the latest MINI Convertible Sidewalk Version is available in Deep Laguna metallic exterior colour.
To build aesthetically convincing parallels, the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Version blends iconic with modern. With the Deep Laguna Metallic exterior colour specifically created for this version, the stunning geometric pattern of the gentle-top electric roof that opens in 20 seconds, along with the specially built 43.18 cm/17″ light-alloy wheel Scissor Spoke 2-tone, provides an additional touch of exclusivity. Specific side scuttles & brushed aluminium door sill finishers, in the Sidewalk design, and striking bonnet streaks with elegant pinstripes further compliment and improve its distinctive look.
The interior exhibits a luxurious and harmonious design and provides the finest workmanship in every minor detail. The new illuminated interior features a decorative Petrol-finished cockpit and door trim. The Sport Leather multifunctional steering wheel with a subtle Sidewalk logo and contrast seams in Petrol provides individual styling.
At the core of the latest MINI Convertible Sidewalk Version is the TwinPower Turbo Technology 2-litre 4-cylinder adrenalin pumping engine. A peak output of 192 hp/ 41 kW and a maximum torque of 280 Nm is mobilised. The car sprints in 7.1 seconds, from 100 km/hr, and the maximum speed reaches up to 230 km / hr.
The newly designed with double clutch and steering wheel paddles, 7-speed Steptronic Sport transmission makes smooth gear changes, optimises the acoustic and vibration response and adds to the advanced drive systems.
The MINI Driving Modes make a personalised vehicle set-up that, depending on choice, emphasizes on either ride comfort, sportiness or efficiency. The Sport mode is oriented towards interactive driving pleasure, in addition to the normal MID mode, while fuel efficient driving is encouraged by the Green mode.
With a number of intuitive safety innovations, the latest Compact Convertible Sidewalk Version is packed. Front and passenger airbags, Brake Assist, 3-Point Seat Belts, Dynamic Stability Control, Crash Sensor, Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control and Run-flat Warning are standard safety devices.
An auto start/stop feature, brake energy recovery, shift point display and electromechanical power steering are included in the standard MINIMALISM technology. The MINI Excitement Package, which includes LED interior and ambient lighting and also a reflection of the MINI logo on the ground on the side of the driver while the door is open, is another cool touch.
