FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. – Hyundai Motor America has been recognized by VIQTORY as a 2021 Military Friendly Employer for its long-term commitment to hiring and recruiting military veterans. Only 240 organizations and four automotive companies earned this designation for 2021 – an honor which Hyundai has received seven times.
Hyundai currently employs approximately 1,000 veterans in the U.S., across its corporate headquarters, dealerships and manufacturing plant in Alabama. Utilizing Hyundai’s proprietary website HyundaiCareers.com, dealers hired more than 700 veterans since January 2013.
“Across our entire company, including the dealer network, manufacturing plant in Alabama and corporate headquarters in California, Hyundai maintains a deep respect and gratitude for military veterans and their families,” said David VandeLinde, executive director, Retail Process and After-Sales, Hyundai Motor America. “These individuals have sacrificed so much in service of our country and we are honored that so many have chosen to make Hyundai their next mission.”
VIQTORY is a veteran-owned business that connects the military community to civilian employment. This prestigious list provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using a variety of data sources. Companies earning the Military Friendly Employers designation were evaluated using both public and government data sources with responses from a comprehensive survey completed by the employer.
