The Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift in the long-wheelbase form: the first long-wheelbase versions of the refreshed E-Class will be 1 in the hands of Chinese customers in the coming days. The updated bestseller takes a bow to the public at Auto China 2020 on 26th September to 5th October. The long-wheelbase version offered entirely in China In keeping with the motto, ‘Made in China, for China’.
Furthermore, the look of the long-wheelbase version of the E-Class also has an update. The new exterior features embrace the front and rear bumpers, the radiator grille, the Multibeam LED headlamps, and the LED taillights as well as the boot lid. It has augmented 22 millimeters in length and now counts 505 (MBUX) multimedia system, which also consists of a touchscreen media display and MBUX Interior Assistant. It is designed to meet the requests and needs of local customers.
The wheelbase of the long-wheelbase version is 140 millimeters lengthier than that of the saloon offered in Europe. This delivers the rear of the five-seat car with even more legroom. The Mercedes-Benz has upgraded the seating relief in the middle seat and propelled a new center console with integrated touchscreen all depending on the model.

Since 2015, China has been the leading market in terms of sales for Mercedes-Benz making the annual sales of almost doubled from 2015 to 2019. The importance of China as the most important market for the saloons from Mercedes-Benz is evident in the E-Class as the long-wheelbase version obtained a new record with double growth in sales.
