The BB3X8 “FDP” is a modern bespoke customization and restoration service for the Ferrari 328 GTB & GTS. Limited to only 30 examples the BB3X8 FDP was developed to be the perfect cocktail of classic analog performance and tasteful implementations of modern features, such as the extensive use of Carbon-Kevlar for the new 288 GTO inspired widebody and air ride suspension components transform the classic 328 into a powerful modern grand tourer. Inspired by classic and modern Ferrari’s each aspect of the BB3X8 is extensively looked over to insure that every part of the interior and exterior is built to the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.

WHY ACCUAIR AIR RIDE IS NECESSARY —
The subframes of the 328 sit lower than the visible rocker panels so with standard coilovers and a high ride height the subframe would still bottom out during spirited drives so air ride was both functional and aesthetic to properly enjoy the car for what it was meant for… Driving.

The exhaust and headers were inspired by the 308GTB rally cars and the race cars of the 80’s that inspired most of us to be the compulsive creators Casil is today.
The BB3X8 FDP is not just about visuals Casil wanted to create the ultimate 328 inside and out. The 3.2L naturally aspirated V8 is paired with a one of kind individual throttle body system (ITBs), With ITBs each cylinder gets its own butterfly valve regulating air intake, rather than all cylinders sharing one valve. When you apply throttle to the engine with a single throttle body, air has to travel further to reach each cylinder, slowing engine response. In an engine with ITBs, atmospheric pressure builds outside each cylinder, so when you open the throttle, air enters instantaneously. The ITBs are paired with a modern KMS ECU for perfectly controlled ignition and fuel mixture, in addition a new custom built exhaust and headers are also added to increases performance, driving characteristics and control. The 3.2L V8 will remain naturally aspirated and will produce 400 horsepower at 9,200RPM, or for comparison as much as the legendary twin turbo charged Ferrari 288 GTO.

From M. Button — I teamed up with Rotiform and designed the “DNO” wheels using the original Dino Cromodora wheels that many found unappealing. I wanted to amplify the Dino style face by adding a 3 piece construction with a Ferrari 330 P3 type step lip. The finish was inspired by the race battered magnesium wheels of that very 330 P3.
