The Tremor adds substantial upgrades to the Pickup truck, bridging the gap between the standard F-150 and the Raptor which is yet to be launched.

Ford is adding the Tremor off-road package to the 2021 F-150 Pickup truck while it builds up the anticipation for the Raptor, the package adds bigger off-road tyres and the transfer case lifted out of the Raptor that enables customers to get off the road in a capable vehicle and enjoy themselves. The pickup comes with 400 horsepower on tap and 500 pound per feet of torque to give you the acceleration and power you need for the rocky routes, coupled with an upgraded suspension.

The Tremor is only available on SuperCrew body configuration and comes with a 5.5 foot rear box. The suspension has been tuned for this vehicle, wherein the springs have been re-tuned at the front and back that adds to the ground clearance while keeping the tyres on ground. The Tremor has monotube shocks at the front and twin shocks at the rear which provide superior damping for off-road and on-road driving.

The whole setup sits on 33 inch General Grabber off-road tyres with 18 inch wheels finished in matte, the front has a Raptor inspired bash plate-these upgrades provide an approach angle of 27.6 degrees, breakover angle of 21.2 degrees and departure angle of 24.3 degrees that ensures that the Ford can overcome challenging obstacles without hassles. There are also upgrades to the power delivery, with the addition of a rear locking differential or optional Torsen Limited-Slip differential for greater obstacle tackling. The Transfer case has been listed off of the Raptor, and features a torque-on-demand technology for higher performance.

Despite the improvements in off-road prowess the Tremor does not lose any of the F-150 functional capabilities, it can tow 10,900 Pounds and handle a payload of 1885 Pounds in the rear deck. The Tremor also doubles up as a very capable camping use vehicle, and courtesy of its 2 Kilowatts of power outlets, a lot of machines can be plugged in too. The engine is a 3.5 litre V6 EcoBoost which makes 400 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque which is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox and AWD, making the car a very powerful off-roader thanks to the enhanced tyres and suspension.

Visually the car features a more muscular design, which is accentuated with the black grille and the signature Tremor Orange highlights which are also present on the fenders, bed sides and the tailgate. The interior also features a dash of the orange, which has been inserted into the seats, the dash and even the instrument panel. Technological upgrades like 360-degree camera system, Trail-One Pedal Drive which makes off-roading at low speeds easier for the driver, Trail Turn Assist which reduces turning radius by intelligent brake use, Hill Descent Control and Trial control are added to the Tremor to enhance the off-road driving experience.

The 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor is set to reach dealerships in summer of 2021, with a price tag of approximately $4000(INR 3 Lacs) for the package on top of the standard F-150.
