Over the years, the Mercedes-AMG GT has established to be one of the best cars and has won over the millions of hearts of people all over the world.  And this time, it has set a new record by taking the crown for the fastest production car with its brand-new Black GT Series, ever to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The legendary Black Series is still viable and in its most automated guise.  It has just accomplished something marvelous.  Ladies and gentlemen, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has just been crowned for being the fastest production car to lap the infamous Nurburgring!  It went around the ‘ring in 6:48.047 minutes, which is a complete 1.3 seconds prompter than a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ!

Well, no alterations were made to the GT Black Series that can be made to it as a product model.  For instance, the adjustable front splitter was enlarged to the Race position, the flexible Coil over suspension was lower by 5mm at the front, and 3mm at the rear, and the spoiler blades were fixed to the middle position.

Affalterbach has successfully made this fantastically challenging task probable.  The journey starts with the specially tuned engine of the AMG GT Black Series. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 now beats out an unbelievable 720hp along with 800Nm.  Yes, this is, nonetheless, a rear-wheel-drive car.

The Black GT Series also supplements with a revised version of AMG’s already 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.  The outcome of all this is naught to 100 kmph acceleration time of just 3.2 seconds.  Obviously, AMG went beyond merely plonking a nuclear-plant in the GT Black Series.  Furthermore, there are now more powerful springs, brakes that are more potent, lowered ride height, stickier tires, quicker steering, and amped-up engine cooling, and more airflow management hardware, among other things.

Oh, let us not forget who drove this crazily brutish car around that furiously competitive track.  It was none other than Maro Engel, who is a racing driver for Mercedes-AMG’s GT3 as well.  Clearly, he had the expected and required experience to pilot the AMG GT Series around the Nurburgring.

Unlike some others who claim the fastest runs and get into a pickle later, Mercedes-AMG has considered it in advance.  They had experts from a firm called wage Solutions to judge the lap times before reinforcing the record.  It remains to stand before being smashed by the next champion of the Nurburgring.  However, for now, the Mercedes-AMG GT Series is the king of the mountain.

Since the Mercedes-AMG GT was launched in 2014 as a true successor to the experienced SLS AMG.  However, we knew how competent the AMG GT is and it was only a focus of time before it went to the next level this time.  Talented!
