The popular MPV from the French automaker has been visually edited, with orange/Ochre shades and adding several exclusive features.
Citroen has once again collaborated with Rip Curl, one of the largest makers of surfing equipment in the world to present the Berlingo Rip Curl Special Edition. The MPV is a very successful car in Europe, and with this special edition aims to attract buyers who are regular at the beach and surfing. Equipped with a special color scheme all around the car and added features which make this car a perfect beach holiday vehicle for surfing enthusiasts.
Featuring the signature futuristic fascia at the front, with the LED lights and full width grille, the Berlingo has been made more attractive in every way possible. The Anodised Ochre- a shade of orange has been used on the Rip Curl edition, which has been cleverly placed on the Foglamp surrounds, the side body cladding etc, which give the Berlingo a very unique look indeed.
On the inside the special edition has the three rear seats wrapped in Ochre and grey contrast material, the same can be found on the dashboard. The Rip Curl Logo can be found on the front doors and on the floor mats inside. The Berlingo is a utilitarian vehicle, with three seats in the second row and a rear window which provides easier access to the boot. Tinted windows, roof bars, 8 inch infotainment screen are some of the standard features of the car. The special edition adds Dual-Zone climate control, rear view camera, Citroen Connect Navigation and Citroen Connect Box with SOS and assistance features which are useful in times of emergencies.
The practical vehicle is known for the versatility and the range of extra equipment that can be loaded onto it. Grip control with Hill Descent provides the Berlingo with the go anywhere prowess, recharge pack which adds a 230V connector and wireless charging for smartphones, drive assist pack which adds cameras to the car which are responsible for the Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Rip Curl Special edition Berlingo can be chosen from three engine options, the two diesel units, which make 100 and 130 horsepower and come with a six-speed manual transmission, and the petrol unit which makes 130 horsepower and comes with a 8-speed automatic transmission. Priced at 27,350 ( INR 23 Lacs) Euros for the smaller diesel, the special edition is approximately a thousand Euros more expensive than the standard one. The Petrol automatic is priced at 28,800 Euros ( INR 25 Lacs).
