The Cayenne is a legendary SUV, and the first-generation started it all, the curvy looks, the massive power and most importantly the Luxury sedan with all the comforts.
If you are in search of a SUV for around INR 15 Lakhs then there is no dearth of options, especially because of the very competitive race between the Korean siblings, the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos, but if you are willing to bet the money on a used vehicle then a German SUV might be the perfect match for your garage. A first-gen 2008 Porsche Cayenne is being sold off for a dirt-cheap price of just 15 Lakhs and is an option to consider.
The Cayenne was launched in 2003 and is now one of the most popular luxury SUVs in the market. It has garnered this big following because of the more performance oriented style and specifications that Porsche provided with the car, heralding a new era for the car. This is a Cayenne Turbo model and is powered by a 4.8 litre V8 engine and comes with proper gear to take it off-roading.
The V8 develops 493 horsepower and is mated to an automatic transmission that can propel the car to a hundred in just 4.9 seconds, and even though the vehicle is 12 years old it will still hold most of its power and performance because of the immaculate engineering that Germans use on their vehicles.
The car features alloy wheels, locking differentials and a height-adjustable suspension tuned for off-roading. The car has brown leather upholstery on the seats and a very comfortable ride, and being the Turbo variant this has quite a lot of power that puts most SUVs to shame. This particular car has black exterior paint, 94,000 kilometers on the odometer and just a single owner.
At 15 Lakhs, you can go for a Creta or a Seltos, MG Hector and even a Tata Nexon, all of which are great options but they really don’t stand against this Porsche which easily surpasses them in almost every single specification and then some. If lack of older connectivity options does not bother you, then do give this Porsche Cayenne a good look, which is being sold in Gurgaon and well might be the cheapest Porsche on sale in India.
