It has not been a while back since we last discussed a car show due to the worldwide disruption triggered by the coronavirus epidemic.  Nevertheless, Auto China 2020 in Beijing is still going to be happening this month.

BMW has revealed the BMW is amongst the first brands to disclose 2021 5-Series LWB (Long Wheelbase) and the luxury sedan in the People’s Republic, specifically the facelifted 5 Series.  Surprisingly, it is not a similar sedan show that was organised in North America and Europe.  It is designed for the Chinese market and thus will be premiered at the Auto China 2020.

It is a well-known point that Chinese customers have a soft spot for rear legroom, due to the fact majority of German luxury brands have established discrete LWB models to supply the world’s most populated country.  The German carmaker claimed that the business sedan is the most efficacious of its kind in China, with around 1.74 lakh units of it having been retailed in 2019 already.

For the 2021 model year, BMW has given the 5-Series LWB an overall severer look including unique kidney grille, innovative headlights, and tail lamps.

the primary thing that is obvious to get highlighted is the enlarged space for the passengers, as the 2021 BMW 5-Series LWB consists of a wheelbase that has been protracted by 130 mm to be seated at 3105 mm. this means that the distance between the axles raises by 130 millimeters (5.1 inches), causing in a substantial wheelbase of 3105 mm (122.2 inches) for the locally assembled 5 Series Li.

The five Series Sedan is not just being sold in China than the international version, but it also brags a feature you will not discover anywhere else.  The model acquires a ‘comfort rear seat with particularly ergonomic upholstery and relaxed headrests’ presented as voluntary equipment.  Additionally, customers can also demand BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, panoramic glass sunroof, rear-seat Entertainment equipment with dual adjustable touchscreens, ambient lighting, and among others.

The BMW China has only publicized two descriptions of the revised five Series, presenting the model fortified with the M Sport Package.  There is going to be a 535Le plug-in hybrid modified with a united output of 288 horsepower (215 kilowatts).

The five Series Li racked up almost 174,000 sales former year, sufficient to mark it the most prevalent business sedan in China.  It is far from being the single stretched BMW available in the market as the three Series is also obtainable with a long wheelbase together with the X1 crossover.

Therefore, not much to wait for a longer duration as the Auto China 2020 is reserved to take place between September 26 and October 5.
