The BMW X2 is even more exclusive and has a distinctive appearance as the new M Mesh Edition is built on the M Sport X model. Like the grille on the BMW X2 M35i (fuel consumption combined: 7.1 – 6.6 l/100 km (39.8 – 42.8 mpg imp); CO2 emissions combined: 163 – 151 g/km*), it has a three-dimensional net inspired by racing cars.

The BMW X2 can also be specified at no extra price with bold new decals on the bonnet, the sides of the front bumper, the facade and back doors. In bold Orange, the model is available with Brooklyn Grey metallic paint finish exclusive to the M Mesh Edition. There are other shades also like Alpine White, Phytonic Blue metallic or Sunset Orange metallic, etc.

LED headlights with bad weather light

The model has LED headlights which produce a powerful appearance. The projection of an X2 logo from the exterior mirror on the driver’s side as part of the standard lighting package is the other new feature of the BMW X2. It also includes door handle lighting, ground lighting, exterior mirror lighting and door entry light.

Adaptive LED headlights 

The Adaptive LED Headlights help to increase visibility, while also avoiding dazzling other road users.


The interior of the vehicle is efficiently built to attract its customers and has standard bi-colour interior appointments. The exclusive covers for the M sport seats with vital head restraints and the back seat bench feature a mix together of Dakota leather in attracting Mocha and Anthracite-coloured Alcantara. The floor mats are in Orange or Brown in the BMW X2 xDrive25e. The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition also conveys special entry sills with “Edition” lettering.

Sporty interior

These are vehicles with a manual gearbox also have a gearshift lever with M badging. The elite LED fibre-optic light guides in the door trim to add flourishes of colour. The driver’s raised seating position provides a better view out and best command over the driving. The optional panoramic roof adds beauty to the new model which floods the cabin with light. The front part of the panoramic roof can be opened like a sunroof.

The plug-in hybrid drive system in the model offers an electric range of up to 57 kilometres (35 miles)

The plug-in hybrid powertrain in this model series endows the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition with remarkably better performance and the ability to drive with zero local emissions. In the BMW X2 xDrive25e, electric motor, whose output of 70 kW/95 hp and torque of 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) are relayed to the back wheels via a single-speed transmission, teams up with a 1.5-litre petrol engine generating 92 kW/125 hp and peak torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft).
