Sant’Agata Bolognese / Automobili Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese factory has produced 10,000 Aventadors in nine years thus setting an important benchmark with its historical v12 model.
The Aventador SVJ Roadster in Grigio Acheso (grey) colour with Rosso Mimir (red) livery and Ad Personam interior in Rosso Alala (red) andblack has a chassis number 10,000 and is destined for the Thai market.
The Aventador LP 700-4 was the original debutante in this series in 2011 in a coupe version. IT immediately became a benchmark in the world of super sports cars mainly due to the introduction of new technological solutions.
Produced in the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, its innovative carbon fiber monocoque is single shell. It combines the cockpit, floor and roof of the car in one single structure and is thus different from other solutions.
This ensures maximum performance in terms of passive safety and dynamic behaviour and also ensures extremely high structural rigidity.
Enabling exceptional acceleration of 2.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/hr and a maximum speed of 350 km/hr it set a new benchmark in the world of super sports cars when it was introduced.
With 700 HP (515kW) of power at 8,250 rpm the new high-performance V12 engine was developed for the Aventador LP 700-4.
Thrilling ultra-fast shifts are guaranteed by the presence of the ISR robotised transmission. Comparable to that of racing cars, driving precision is offered by the push-rod suspension system.
In the follow-up to the legendary Countach and V12 models that followed it, it has similar upward-opening doors.
The Roadster version of the Aventador was presented by Automobili Lamborghini in November 2012. Using different technologies including RTM and Forged Composite technologies, its roof is composed of two sections.
These technologies ensure extremely light weight and the maximum aesthetic impact. Six kg is the weight of each section of the roof.
To provide the removable roof with proper support, the rear pillar was redesigned. This was also done to ventilate the engine compartment sufficiently and to house an automatic passenger protection system.
