The 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta gets a new bolder blacked accented design, new wheels, and new interior colors.
The Innova Crysta made landfall in 2016, and since then has been a popular car for the comfort lovers in the country and selling more than 3 Lakh units in that time. Now after almost 5 years Toyota has seen fit to give the car a facelift, along with some upgraded equipment to keep the car the undisputed leader of the MPV segment. Let’s take a look at the updates for the car-
1. New Front Fascia
While it retains the shape of the older car, the new grille is blacked out and bigger, and is surrounded on the sides by a bolder chrome outline. The front bumper has also been changed which now features a black upper lip which coincides with the color of the grille, making the front stand out. The replacement of the chrome grille, now places the Toyota emblem in the middle of the grille which is a much more prominent location. The headlamp assembly also gets a black treatment.
2. Front Clearance Sonar for enhanced safety
The 2021 Innova Crysta is also safer, with the addition of the Front Sonar which displays objects in proximity on the infotainment screen inside. The Toyota is a fairly large car, and the addition of the Front sensors with the rear parking sensors make it an easier job to park in tight spaces and avoid nicks and scratches.
3. New Infotainment System
The entertainment quotient has been improved by adding the new Smart Playcast touchscreen
audio system, the screen is now an 8 inch unit and comes with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Smartphone connectivity and vehicle monitoring is enhanced with the Innova Connected Smartphone app which lets you track your car in real time, locate your car in a large car park and set a Geo Fencing area beyond which the car will send an alert. The instrument panel gets a new TFT display in the middle which provides the driver with all the essential info about the car.
4. Updated interiors and Features
The cabin has been slightly tweaked and a new seat color option-Camel Tan is also available. On top of this, Dashboard camera for constant surveillance, Tyre Pressure monitoring system, Wireless Smartphone Charger, Ionizer for clean cabin air. There are subtle additions of soft-touch materials around the cabin and Ambient cabin lighting as well.
5. New Alloys wheels
The 2021 Crysta gets new Diamond cut Alloys, they have dual tone paint finish in Black and metal and compliments the freshly decked out car with the new black accents everywhere.
The new 2021 Innova Crysta is now available in India, and starts at INR 16.26 Lakhs, the new car also gets a price bump ranging from INR 20000-60000.
