IRVINE / Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) on Thursday announced the addition of the turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine to the compact Mazda 2021 CX-30. Apart from its impressive styling, the CX-30 delivers an engaging driving experience that helps it gracefully navigate through tight turns and has ample space for all essentials.
With superb craftsmanship and design, advanced technologies this will add elevated performance and capabilities to the 2021 Mazda CX-30 2.5 Turbo. Delivering an impressive 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium (93 octane) fuel, the Skyactiv-G2.5 Turbo engine can also deliver 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque with regular (87 octane) fuel.
The capabilities of the CX-30 offer fans the freedom to explore life in style, from the city to the outdoors with a combination of the turbo engine and standard i-Activ all-wheel drive system with off-road traction assist. Modern, sophisticated design and peace of mind will be complemented by the CX-30 2.5 Turbo’s advanced technologies.
When the vehicle is backing at speeds of 2 to 4 mph, the 2021 CX-30 feature new i-Activsense safety features like Smart City brake Support Reverse with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking which can help a driver by automatically applying the brakes. By providing steering inputs that can help assist the driver stay within lane markers at speeds under 40 mph, a new support feature, Traffic Jam Assist, enhances Mazda Radar Cruise Control in certain situations.
High-definition digital clarity 360° View Monitor is also available. Other premium technologies such as Active Driving Display, Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Front-lighting System help it stand out from within this category. The turbo engine fulfills the sense of passion invoked by the sleek and bold styling of the CX-30 with more power and agile performance.
While continuing to accentuate the engaging experience of a Mazda, the Kodo design of the CX-30 2.5 Turbo’s silhouette reflects the driving pleasure of the engine.
