With a bold design that reflects its powerful and flexible pickup truck capability, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline is expected to be launched early next year. The 2021 Ridgeline features standard V6 control, class-leading ride and handling, the segment ‘s largest interior for passengers and supplies, a brilliantly flexible bed, and the best standard AWD model payload capacity, equally at home on dirt and mud-strewn trails as it is on the highway or twisted mountain roads.
“Truck enthusiasts have long recognized Ridgeline as an incredibly versatile and capable pickup, and now it’s got the rugged looks to match,” said Art St. Cyr, vice president of Auto Operations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “The Ridgeline signals a new direction for our light-truck designs, one that more effectively communicates all the hard work that goes into making Honda pickups and SUVs such proficient on- and off-road performers.”
From the front roof pillars on, the 2021 Ridgeline uses all-new sheet metal. Changes in style include a revised hood with a prominent power bulge, and revised front fenders that highlight the squared-off nose and more upright grille, accompanied for improved visibility by modified LED headlights.
Below, a modified front bumper shows the strength of the design of the new Ridgeline and incorporates broad side vents that channel air through the bumper and across the front tyres and wheels, creating air curtains to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. The body colour is also spread further down the front bumper, and Ridgeline ‘s rugged new look is highlighted by a prominent skid plate.
A new package developed in partnership with Honda Performance Development (HPD) is the solution for those seeking to take Ridgeline’s innovative new style to the next level. A distinctive grille treatment, black fender flares, aggressive bronze-colored wheels and custom HPD designs on the bed walls are applied to the latest HPD Package.
