With changing time the Audi RS 5 Coupe and Sportback have been updated for the upcoming 2021 year. The new Audi RS 5 Coupe and Sportback pose attracting exterior, latest technology and the new MIB 3 infotainment system. The RS 5 Coupe and Sportback are now available in two edition variants – the Ascari launch edition and Black optic launch edition.
Better exterior and interior design
The RS 5 is now more impressive as the model has followed the designs of the RS 6 Avant and the RS 7 which was launched recently in India, the Singleframe grille is wider and flatter than its earlier models and the wider wheel arches (+15 mm compared to A5/S5). Both the models are equipped with Matrix-design LED headlights with Audi laser light, and LED taillights with dynamic turn signals and animation. The standard LED lighting plus package on both the models offers more than 30 different colour combinations. The new operating model is focused on the large MMI touch display, serves as the pivotal point of the instrument panel. To give more connected experience to the drivers there is a 10.1-inch touchscreen (1,540 x 720 pixels) features the all-new MIB 3 infotainment system. To help make smartphone interactions easier for the driver there is Standard Audi smartphone interface for compatible devices provides wireless Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto integration via USB connection.
Powertrain and high performance
The RS 5 Coupe and Sportback have a 2.9-litre V6 TFSI bi-turbo engine that produces 444 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This allows the RS 5 to run from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds for the Coupe, 3.8 for the Sportback, and achieve a speed of 155 mph, or to 174 mph with the Ascari launch. There is an Audi drive select system with six different profiles: comfort, auto, dynamic and individual and the new RS-specific modes, RS1 and RS2, which help drivers to modify their driving experience. Each mode is helpful to the driver which allows him to adjust the quattro sport differential, dynamic steering, and dynamic ride control (if equipped)
Modern Driver Assistance Systems
One unique feature of Audi which makes it a complete brand is that all RS models come with Audi pre sense city and lane departure warning. The integrated toll module allows drivers to access well-suited toll roads services in the U.S. and Canada. The RS driver assistance package adds adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, active lane assists with the hands-on detection steering wheel, park assist, top-view camera system, and head-up display with traffic sign recognition.
The 2021 Audi RS 5 Coupe and Sportback would be available soon. The retail price of 2021 Audi RS 5 Coupe is $75,100. The price of 2021 Audi RS 5 Sportback is $75,400, the price of 2021 Audi RS 5 Coupe Ascari launch edition is $95,600, 2021 Audi RS 5 Coupe Black optic launch edition can be bought at $87,400 and the price 2021 Audi RS 5 Sportback Black optic launch edition is $87,400.
