Milton Keynes- Volkswagen in the recent time has added new engine options to the Arteon models in the UK. Customers can order the revised Arteon fastback and new Arteon Shooting Brake for the use. The advanced Arteon range has 26 configurations, split equally between 13Arteonfastback and 13Arteon Shooting Brake models. In short span of time, Arteon fastback and Arteon Shooting Brake will give first appearance to a eHybrid powertrain. From next year onwards at UK three kit lines will be accessible –SE Nav, Elegance and R-Line with the price-topping 320 PS R to the customers.

Volkswagen is now adding many new things for the benefit of its esteemed customers to the model, the entry-level 1.5-litre 150 PS TSI engine in 6-speed manual gearbox has been added for the first time. This further decreases the entry-level price, which is a piece of good news for the customers. The 1.5 TSI-equipped Arteon covers the 0-62 mph speed in 8.9 seconds using the fastback mode and when using a 6-speed manual gearbox. The trim of the vehicle is important and can deliver up to mpg (combined, WLTP). The 1.5 TSI can cover from rest to 62 mph in 8.9 seconds using the shooting Brake having a maximum speed of 135 mph. The powertrain added to the Areton is the most powerful one, is available with the 2.0-litre 200PS TDI, come with 7-speed DSG and in front-wheel drive.

Lisa Hartley, Arteon Product Manager at Volkswagen UK, said: “The arrival of a broader suite of engine, transmission and drive options in the new Arteon family of models underlines our intention to make the appeal of this new car as broad as possible.

“That this stunning new Volkswagen really is as good to drive as it is to look at is emphasised by the arrival of the expanded drivetrain range, and with more to come I’m confident we will soon have an Arteon that will appeal to almost everyone.”
