Meuspath. At the Essen Motor Show, Manthey-Racing already presented a very special vehicle to visitors on the Preview Day on Friday. At the traditional 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, Manthey-Racing impressed with its predecessor this year and celebrated a class victory. The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR is based on the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which was launched in 2017 for the Porsche one-make cups.
The “Cup MR” presents itself with a modified aerodynamics package with more total output. Together with the twelve-way adjustable ABS system and the wider wheelbase, this results in a long-distance-capable drivability and increased braking performance. Equipped with a 4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine and state-of-the-art racing technology, the vehicle has an output of 485 hp. Optionally, Manthey-Racing offers long-range accessories such as Endurance Harness or Air Conditioning.
The new Manthey-Racing GmbH vehicle will be on display at the Essen Motor Show from 2 to 10 December. Staff members of the company will be informing visitors in Hall 3, booth A101, about the innovations in the new racing car. Around 500 exhibitors and over 300,000 expected visitors turn Messe Essen into a Mecca for motorsport fans.
