The ultimate souvenir for any Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan is a race car driven by the man himself. This Chevrolet Impala was built by Hendrick Motorsports; it’s not a replica and it’s not a traveling show car. This chassis (No. 88-654) was designed for short-track racing and it was raced exclusively at Martinsville Speedway in 2011 and 2012. Since then, the car has been restored to new condition with no expense spared. The chassis is detailed beautifully, and you’ll find race-prepped suspension and a Ford 9-inch floater rear end, prepared by Hendrick Motorsports. The body is in excellent condition, repaired from its days as a short track race car. The AMP Energy, Mountain Dew and National Guard graphics package offers a great appearance to go with the famous No. 88 insignias and the Dale Earnhardt Jr. signature above the door. The engine is a rebuilt NASCAR Cup Series R07, which comes in at 358 CI and cranks out 950 HP. The naturally aspirated beast has a custom-built 4150-based Holley carburetor, a dry-sump oiling system and custom-fabricated headers and exhaust. Behind the Chevrolet R07 engine is a G-Force 4-speed manual transmission, complete with a Tilton bellhousing and clutch system.

The car includes a fire suppression system, refueling valve and carbon fiber driver containment seat. This car is not street legal and will be sold on a bill of sale. The race car comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from Hendrick Motorsports. With the world of NASCAR changing by the minute, this car still incorporates some of the core values of stock car racing. It was driven by a legend of the sport, and it still retains all of its race-ready components. Now is your chance to own this well detailed piece of NASCAR history that was driven by one of the sport’s all-time most popular drivers.
