The most enduring memory for many Aussie Muscle car enthusiasts is Brocky pounding around Mount Panorama in 1979, in the Marlboro HDT A9X Torana Hatchback, six laps in the lead, hanging the rear end out through McPhillamy whilst waving to the cheering crowd as he set a new lap record on the last lap to win the Bathurst 1000 great race.
And ALL A9X Toranas have this same blood line pulsing through their veins. A little bit of Bathurst, Brocky and good old Aussie determination all wrapped up in one bloody sexy Hatchback motor car.
